Master’s Thesis: “Living at limit states. Design and engineering of a high mountain hut”

Exposed at the Ethnographic Museum of Malborghetto (UD)

The aim of the project is the design of a minimum space that is able to deal with a severe mountain environment, taking care of the many different engineering and architectural challenges.

The hut is an example of a small timber frame building, designed to be pre-assembled in a workshop, transported with a helicopter and assembled on site with simple joints.
