Yoga back bender

 

The so-called "cassetta del pane", literally "bread box" is a classic yoga Parinama tool for back bending exercises. The model shown here has been cnc machined from 15mm high quality birch ply and assembled with wood glue. 

 

The peculiar geometry of the side panels proved to be perfect for implementing a digital fabrication workflow and 2.5D cnc machining to produce a small series of 10-15 pieces with good productivity.

All 3d modelling and CAM work has been carried out in Fusion 360. CNC: Shapeoko 3 XXL.
