CNC hangboard for Appennino - Local mountains 

 

In early 2021 we were asked to design and manufacture a small series of wooden hangboards for Appennino - Local mountains, a young association recently born to promote social events and gatherings for outdoor enthusiasts in the local mountain range: the Appennines. 

 

The hangboard was cut from high quality 18mm birch ply and it features a mountain-inspired cnc machined profile with the association logo engraved on the front face and a 7x2 array of holes to house T nuts for resin holds.

All 3d modelling and CAM work was carried out in Fusion 360. CNC: Shapeoko 3 XXL.
